The Creative Player Enviroment
The comprehensive SOL FUTBOL program provides a setting
in which all players/students and their families can find a place to celebrate the game and all of its benefits. All
of a students attributes can be nurtured through the program's progression, the objective is to help mature capable individuals
not simply develop soccer skills. The Program incorporates
life skills with soccer skills, in order to create better students on and off the playing field.
Lessons like:
Teamwork, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Friendship, Communication, Sharing, Respect, Hard Work, and Determination
are taught through teaching soccer properly.
Learning from football: According to Adolf Ogi, UN Special Advisor on Sport for Development and Peace, “Sport is the best school of life”. Soccer’s
enormous potential is especially apparent in youth work, where
it teaches qualities like fairness, discipline, solving conflicts peacefully, and global learning.
We should not determine success with wins or losses, instead success
should be measured by how we helped our students learn from the process of Winning and
Losing.
